A gunman killed at least two people Monday at a high school hockey game in Rhode Island, according to multiple reports. The shooter is also dead, according to authorities.

The shooting happened at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, at about 2 p.m. Local news station WPRI reports that, in addition to the shooter, two victims are dead and three others are hospitalized. However, the conditions of those injured were not immediately known.

Another station, WJAR, quoted the Pawtucket mayor’s office as saying the deceased victim was a young girl. However, her age was not immediately available.

Authorities said that the suspect is a man but offered no additional details. Authorities said the shooting may have been targeted and appears to be a family dispute. However, they did not say if the victims were related and wouldn’t release the identities until the family is notified.

Officials said police did not kill the suspect but did not say if he died of a self-inflicted injury. The Providence Journal reported that a video from a livestream of the event captured the shooting. In the video, 13 shots are heard within six seconds, followed by a final shot 11 seconds later. The publication said student athletes and families didn’t react until the gunman fired multiple rounds.

The boys’ hockey game involved players from several high schools, the Journal reported.

CBS News said Pawtucket Mayor Don Grebien is monitoring the shooting. State police are working with local law enforcement. Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee was also aware of the shooting.

“I am praying for Pawtucket and everyone involved,” McKee said.
