Media Miss Minute: Eric Trump 2028?, Rosie O’Donnell apologizes

Media Miss by the right: Will Eric Trump run for president in 2028? He’s not saying yes, but he’s not saying no

There could be a new Trump taking office come 2028. President Donald Trump’s son, Eric, teased the idea that he could run for his father’s office in the next election.

When asked about it during an appearance at the Bitcoin Asia 2025, the president’s middle son said he would “never rule it out.”

“I’m not saying no, but I’m also not saying yes,” Eric Trump told Nikkei Asia in an interview.

Previously, Eric Trump had downplayed a 2028 presidential bid, but during a July interview with the Financial Times, he did highlight his leadership capabilities, express criticism of lawmakers and mention that he found many politicians unimpressive.

Media Miss by the left: Rosie O’Donnell apologizes after wrongfully linking Minn. shooter to MAGA movement

Rosie O’Donnell has issued a public apology after claiming the Minneapolis church shooter was a Republican and MAGA supporter in a TikTok post. She also removed the post.

O’Donnell later apologized, saying she did not do her “due diligence” before making claims about the shooter, who police say “hated everyone,” including the president.

“I assumed, like most shooters, they followed a standard MO and had standard, you know, feelings of, you know, NRA-loving kind of gun people,” O’Donnell said in a video posted Monday. “Anyway, the truth is I messed up, and when you mess up, you ‘fess up. I’m sorry. This is my apology video and I hope it’s enough.”
