Florida skipped research before ending vaccine mandates; Stephen King has a prediction for Trump supporters: Media Miss Minute

In this Media Miss Minute, Florida’s surgeon general says the state did no research on the consequences of repealing vaccine mandates. Plus, horror author Stephen King predicts Trump supporters will one day disown their votes.
Media Miss by the right: No data projections before Florida repealed vaccine mandates
During an interview with Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo this week, CNN’s Jake Tapper asked how the state made its decision to end vaccine mandates. Ladapo’s answer has been controversial.
“Did your department do any data analysis, did you do any data projection of how many new cases of these diseases there will be in Florida once you remove vaccine mandates?” Tapper asked.
“Absolutely — so, absolutely not,” Ladapo said.
He added, “There’s this conflation of the science and, sort of, what is the right and wrong thing to do.”
Ladapo told Tapper that parents should have the right to refuse any and all vaccinations for their children, no matter what science says.
Media Miss by the left: Stephen King predicts Trump supporters will say they never voted for him
Meanwhile, horror novelist Stephen King has a prediction for Americans who voted for President Donald Trump.
He told the U.K.’s Sunday Times that he predicts that in the future, people are going to deny they ever voted for Trump.
“There’s a story about the home run that was heard around the world,” King said “There are… tens of thousands of people who will say, ‘I saw [the baseball player Bobby Thomson] hit that home run,’ and there were only, like, 5,000 people in the stands that day. So I think the opposite is true [with Trump]. Twenty or 30 years down the line, when I’ll be dead, and you’ll be old, I think a lot of people are going to say, ‘Well, I never voted for Trump.’”
King also compared masked, unidentified Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to the Nazi Gestapo, saying he feels he has a moral obligation to speak out against Trump, even at the risk of losing fans.
