The stock price of Cracker Barrel jumped approximately 6% after the company announced its old logo was returning.

The move comes after the company attempted to refresh its logo. The new logo triggered weeks of backlash and wiped out as much as $200 million in market value for the restaurant chain.
Following the backlash, Cracker Barrel announced it was rolling back its rebrand and sticking with the original logo. Now, the company has gone as far as to scrap its redesign plans for its stores.
Location remodels
The remodels would have replaced the chains’ iconic country decor with a cleaner, more modern look. Now, however, the company said the rocking chairs on the porch, fireplaces and peg games are here to stay.
Cracker Barrel had already redesigned four of its 660 locations prior to the decision. The good news, the company said that if your location has not been remodeled, it won’t be.
“We heard clearly that the modern remodel design does not reflect what you love about Cracker Barrel,” the company said in its statement. “Of course, we will continue to invest in our restaurants to make sure that they are in good shape and meet your expectations.
Cracker Barrel thanked fans for their passion and love for the old-time restaurant. The company stated that it hopes the latest move reinforces its commitment to hearing fans and their desires.
