X, Amazon Web Services down amid Cloudflare system issues

Many online platforms, including X and Amazon Web Services, are experiencing operational errors Tuesday morning after Cloudflare announced a global network issue.

DownDetector.com reported outages on X, OpenAI, Spotify and some online games.

Cloudflare will continue to provide updates on the outage on its website. An investigation into the issue, which began around 7 a.m. EST, remains ongoing.

Since then, Cloudflare reported that some services are recovering, but customers might still “observe higher-than-normal error rates.”

In an 8 a.m. EST update, Cloudflare announced that the problem had been identified and that its team was actively working on a fix.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
