Media Miss by the left: Man arrested at National Cathedral had over 200 explosives
Police in Washington, D.C., arrested a man found with more than 200 “homemade destructive devices,” including bottle rockets, Molotov cocktails and ingredients for improvised explosive devices. According to a report by The Washington Post, the man was camped out in a tent outside the National Cathedral.
He was caught Sunday morning, Oct. 5, not long before several Supreme Court justices were expected to attend mass to mark the beginning of the court’s new term. The justices ultimately decided not to go because of the threat.
The Post reported the suspect, Louis Geri, confessed to D.C. police that he was in possession of explosives and that he intended to use them.
A notebook found to be written by Geri contained long rants against a range of institutions and individuals including the Catholic Church, the Supreme Court and Jewish people.

Media Miss by the right: Trump crackdown forces Argentina, Puerto Rico match out of Chicago
A soccer match between Argentina and Puerto Rico that was set for next Monday, Oct. 13, at Chicago’s Soldier Field is being moved. It comes as Trump has deployed the National Guard to the city amid intensifying demonstrations over immigration policy.
The decision also comes after an Argentine Football Association official confirmed the relocation, pointing to safety concerns surrounding protests in Chicago. The match is part of Argentina’s 2026 World Cup build-up.
Chicago Park District spokesman Luca Serra stated that the game was canceled in Chicago due to low ticket sales. The game will reportedly now take place at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
