Former Vice President Kamala Harris’ opening stop on her new book tour in New York was interrupted by protesters accusing her of being complicit in genocide in Gaza.

Harris responded to the protesters saying during her tenure as vice president, she faced internal pushback from the Biden administration for speaking candidly about Gaza. She also said she has long advocated for Palestinians.

“Unlike the current president of the United States, I understand what’s happening right now in Gaza,” she said. “What is happening to the Palestinian people is outrageous, and it breaks my heart.”

Media Miss by the left: Energy Department wants to claw back $13B in renewable energy funds

The Trump administration’s Department of Energy wants to take back around $13 billion that had already been set aside by Congress for various projects.

In a press release, the Trump administration did not specify what the money would be used for, only that it will come from “the previous administration’s wasteful Green New Scam agenda.”

At a New York Times event, Energy Secretary Christopher Wright reportedly said the seized funds would aim to subsidize wind, solar and other renewable energy projects. Much of the funding had originally been allocated toward those same purposes.
