Bomb threat by passenger forces United Airlines emergency landing
A bomb threat on a flight from Dallas to Chicago forced an emergency landing in St. Louis on Sunday. United Airlines flight 380 diverted to St. Louis after a passenger reported a bomb threat.
According to the local Fox affiliate, police dogs were used to clear the plane. One passenger was arrested.
United Airlines told Straight Arrow News the flight was diverted to address a potential safety concern. Law enforcement cleared the plane. The flight will continue on to Chicago Sunday afternoon.
The Boeing 737-700 was carrying 119 passengers and five crew members.
