Media Miss by the left: Garland accused of approving ‘unchecked power’ probe
Former U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland is accused of misusing his authority in the FBI’s investigation into Republican efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.
Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, released the memo on X showing that Garland, former Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, and former FBI Director Christopher Wray approved the investigation, code-named “Operation Arctic Frost,” in 2022.
Grassley accused the Biden administration of unleashing “unchecked government power at the highest levels.” He has also said the probe was “arguably worse than the Watergate Scandal.”
Documents released by Grassley indicate that the FBI sought phone data from eight Republican senators and a House member. The investigation reportedly also targeted nearly 100 Republican-linked groups and individuals.

Media Miss by the right: Majority of Israelis want Netanyahu out
A new survey finds that 52% of Israelis believe Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should not run for re-election – after nearly 30 years in power and six terms as Israel’s longest-serving leader. Critics accuse Netanyahu of prolonging the Israel-Hamas war to maintain his political position.
Other polls suggest his popular support has fallen below one-third, as anti-Netanyahu protests grow and calls for early elections intensify.
