Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s fiancé Ken Urker dies at 33
Ken Urker, the fiancé of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, has died after being found unresponsive in Louisiana, according to TMZ. He was 33 years old.
Urker was found at his home Thursday, on his birthday, family sources told TMZ. Blanchard had sent him a “Happy Birthday” text but received no response.
Blanchard’s brother, Dylan, later discovered Urker in the home, according to the family sources cited by TMZ. Further details about the discovery were not immediately available.
Blanchard became widely known for her role in the 2015 killing of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who had falsely portrayed her daughter as seriously ill and subjected her to unnecessary medical treatment.
She pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. She was released in December 2023 after serving about eight years.
Urker and Blanchard’s daughter was born on December 28, after the couple rekindled their relationship following her release from prison.
The cause of Urker’s death was not immediately known.
