Body-camera footage released by the U.S. Marshals Service shows officers on an elevated deck when it collapsed during a high-risk warrant operation in Missouri last month, injuring several of them.

The collapse happened on July 21 in Huntsville, Missouri, as members of the Moberly Area SWAT Team, the U.S. Marshals Service and other law enforcement personnel carried out the operation, according to a press release by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office on the day of the incident.

The warrant was for Jacob Alexander Munoz, 26, a fugitive accused of failing to register as a sex offender, The New York Times reported, citing the U.S. Marshals Service. Munoz was later taken into custody.

Munoz had registered as a sex offender only briefly after his release from custody for crimes involving the possession of child sexual abuse imagery, according to the Marshals Service.

Several officers were taken to local hospitals after the porch collapsed. The injuries included broken bones, but all were non-life-threatening and the injured officers have since been released, according to the Marshals Service.
