California Amber Alert: 3 children abducted in Chino Hills
A California Amber Alert has been issued for three children after they were possible abducted in Chino Hills, east of Los Angeles, officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.
Jayceon Browner, 10, Kartier Browner, 9, and Emani Browner, 5, were abducted at about 4 p.m. Monday in Chino Hills, a city in San Bernardino County about 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, according to the alert issued by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Authorities have not released details about how the abduction occurred. The Amber Alert covers Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County.
Jayceon Browner is a 10-year-old Black male with brown hair and brown eyes. Kartier Browner is a 9-year-old Black female with brown hair and brown eyes. Emani Browner is a 5-year-old Black female with brown hair and brown eyes.
The suspect was identified as Joseph Browner, a 31-year-old Black male, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Joseph Browner was last seen driving a 2025 black Kia Niro with California license plate number 9VWP939, according to authorities.
Anyone who sees the children or the suspect is urged to call 911 immediately.
