‘Intentional’ explosion rocks Harvard Medical School, 2 people seen fleeing
Authorities said an explosion at a Harvard Medical School building on Saturday was intentional. No one was injured in the blast.
However, the Harvard Crimson reported two people were spotted running out of the building at the time of the detonation.
School officials report the explosion took place on the fourth floor of the Goldenson Building. According to the Boston Globe, a university police officer attempted to stop the pair while entering the building to check the alarm. Since the explosion, the FBI has jumped into the investigation.
Medical School employees connected to that particular building have been asked to stay away from campus until Monday.
The university released surveillance photos in an effort to identify the two people, calling them suspects. Both were wearing masks.
