2 killed after helicopter crashes into warehouse in Florida
Two people were killed when a small helicopter crashed into a vacant warehouse in Boynton Beach, Florida, according to officials.
The helicopter went down shortly before 12:30 p.m. Monday near 3800 South Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach, a city in South Florida north of Fort Lauderdale.
Boynton Beach police and fire crews responded and found the aircraft in a vacant warehouse, according to the Boynton Beach Police Department.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) identified the aircraft as a Robinson R44 and said two people were on board. Police confirmed there were no survivors.
The identities of those aboard have not been released. It is also not known where the helicopter departed from or where it was headed.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating, with the NTSB leading the probe.
